Who are the tours intended for? Kindergartens, teacher groups, libraries, and other interested groups
Why come for a tour of the National Library?
* We will show you how easy it is for you to register as a reader so that you also have access to our extensive collections.
* You get to explore a building that has just been recognised as a cultural monument and is considered unique in 20th-century Estonian architecture.
* You get to gaze at Wiiralt’s Hell in person.
* In the next quiz you will know exactly which decorations the Estonian state awards.
* You will find out if that splendid old book in your attic meets the criteria for a rare book.
* The tour only lasts 1 hour – you’re not that busy!
* There are 8 floors (and underground stackrooms) in the building, which means you can also reach your daily pedometer step count while exploring.
* Group size is 10-20 people, so you can bring your friends, colleagues, or classmates too.
* Tours are free of charge!
Note! Tours are offered on business days from 10:00 to 16:00 and must be booked at least 2 weeks in advance.
