Register as a User

Registering as a user of our library is free and everyone is welcome! Library card

To certify your rights as a registered reader and be admitted to the library, you must present your library card or ID card. You can register as a reader either at the library or online.

In order to register online, you need to have an ID card or mobile ID.

To register at the library, you must provide a valid photo ID: a passport, ID card, or student card. 

Readers under the age of 18 must have their parent/guardian fill out our consent form to borrow books for reading at home. Parent/guardian consent is given once and remains valid until the reader reaches the age of 18. If the form is signed digitally, it should be sent by-email to If the form is signed manually, on paper, please bring it to the Information Centre on the 5th floor of the National Library.
