Facilities

The National Library Conference Centre has seven conference rooms of different sizes, where you can hold parallel sessions, training, seminars, meetings, conferences, presentations, exhibitions, press conferences, etc.  

In addition to the Conference Centre’s facilities, the foyer is also available for use for fairs, exhibitions, unique special projects, etc.

In addition to the Conference Centre’s facilities, the National Library offers study rooms and group rooms. Registered users can use the rooms free of charge twice a week (3 h).

** Wheelchair access is limited to the elevated hall area. There is no access to the stage and the chairs on the central floor.  

Custom room layout solutions (for banquets, receptions, etc.) are not included in the price of the room as they require additional equipment rental (stool tables, round tables, etc.) or removal of the stationary chairs from the central floor. 

  • Depending on the room, the price includes up to five different room layouts the customer can choose from: theatre style, classroom style, diplomatic style, U-shaped, and café style. 

  • Our team is ready to assist you with more unique ideas for room layout and design: tell us what you have in mind and we will make you a personal offer. 

  • On Sundays, the National Library of Estonia is closed to readers, which allows us to undertake special projects, for example, spanning several rooms and the foyer. 

 

RENT TERMS

  • All conference rooms must be booked for a minimum use time of 2 hours. 

  • The price includes 1 hour for preparation and 30 minutes for departure. Additional hours before or after the event are subject to the hourly rate set out in the price list. Room rental is only available on an hourly basis, i.e. 0.5 hours equals 1 hour. 

  • The daily rate is applied starting from the 6th hour and up to 8 hours of use. 

  • On Saturdays and Sundays the mark-up is 25%; 50% on public holidays. 

  • During the weekend, all rooms are subject to a minimum price of 200 euros, plus VAT. 

  • A 10% mark-up is applied to room rentals between 22:00 and 07:00. 

  • Access to and use of the rooms outside the National Library’s opening hours is subject to an extra security service charge (11.50 euros per hour*). 
    *Different rates on public holidays 

  • Wheelchair access is available for the following conference rooms: Main and Small Conference Hall, Miller Salon, and Meeting Room. An accessible toilet is available on the same floor as the National Library’s main entrance. 
      

  • Note! The opening hours of the National Library are different in July and August.
