Requesting items and renewing the due date

Help in finding items, reserving items from the stacks, renewing the due date, requesting items from other libraries, ordering copies.

Request from a reference librarian	Helping to find and request a book, newspaper, printed music, etc. from the stacks.
Renew the due date	The due date is renewed if the item is not in demand. If you have overdue items the due date is not renewed.
Order a copy	Copies are made from periodicals, collections of articles, articles in the licensed databases available in the National Library or other Estonian and foreign libraries and from publications that belong to the collections of the National Library of Estonia.
Order a digital copy of a book	You may order a digital copy of a publication available at the National Library of Estonia (entire work) whose copyright protection has expired.
Request from another library (ILL)	Via the Interlibrary Loan (ILL) we may request literature unavailable in our Library from other Estonian and foreign libraries. Read more ...
Order a microfilm	You may order a user copy from a microfilm that contains works whose copyright protection has expired.

The National Library will be closed on 29-30 March.

On 1 April the Library will open at 16.00.
