COLLECTION
Performing its statutory tasks the National Library of Estonia (NLE)
- as a national library is obliged to build up a comprehensive
collection of the national imprint;
- as a parliamentary library it is obliged to build up
a collection of law literature, official documents, and documents of
international organizations;
- as part of the Estonian library network it is obliged
to collect materials in liberal arts and social sciences.
The library specified also the term of pamphlets as a
category of items with limited stack life, their classification and storage
principles.
Inter-Library Lending (ILL) is in use.
