Information Sciences Reading Room is located on the 5th level of the National Library building.
The reading room is opened on Mondays–Fridays from 10.00 to 20.00; on Saturdays from 12.00 to 19.00.

- Electronic databases search
- Answering to bibliographic, subject and factual enquirings at the spot, over the phone or over e-mail
- Compiling lists of new LIS acqusitions in major Estonian research libraries’ collections (Raamatukogunduse uudiskirjanduse nimestik), which are also published in Estonian library journal “Raamatukogu”, and an annual publication, Bibliography of Library and Information Sciences
- Organising the book exhibitions of new acquisitions in the reading room collection and on special LIS subjects
