How to find literature on geography and maps

• Online catalogue ESTER - a joint catalogue of Estonian libraries that contains Estonian and foreign-language books, periodical publications and other items, incl also maps. Searches can be done by author, title or subject with the keyword ´kaardid` or by the material type ´kaart´.
  The catalogue also includes topographic maps of Estonia produced at different periods of time.
• National bibliography database ERB – contains books, periodical publications, maps and other material published in Estonia and in Estonian on any media.
• Search portal of the National Library - enables you to search in one or simultaneously several databases in a uniform environment. Contains library catalogues, databases of articles, and other selected websites. Provides access to electronic journals is.
• New books in cartography and geography – a list of new literature and maps; issued three times a year.
• Digital archive DIGAR – contains digitised geographical maps and town plans from the 16^th century, pre-print files of journals and newspapers, web publications, etc.

How to find articles issued in the Estonian press

• Database of Estonian articles ISE  – a bibliographic database of the newspapers, journals, collections of articles, and continuing publications issued in Estonia. Of foreign publications, articles about Estonia and by Estonian authors are available. The database also contains references to full texts.
• Information on articles published during earlier years can be found in bibliographic publications
