  • Best designed Estonian books and 5 best designed Estonian children’s books 2009
    On Wednesday, 3 February at 16.00, 25 best designed Estonian books and 5 best designed Estonian children’s books 2009 will be announced in the 6th floor Gallery of the National Library of Estonia. 174 books, designed and illustrated by Estonian artists, from 73 publishers were submitted to the book design contest. Simultaneously, 35 books from 18 publishers competed for the title of the 5 most beautiful children’s books.

  • Steen Brogaard’s photo exhibition “Tales from the top of Europe”
    Steen Brogaard’s photo exhibition “Tales from the top of Europe” is open in the Foyer and the Main Exhibition Hall of the National Library. The exhibition is showing the daily life and environment of Denmark and is arranged by the Danish Cultural Institute in cooperation with the National Library of Estonia.  Will be exhibited until 4 February.
